Keynote Speaker: David W. Brown
From the street corner to the corner suites, David Brown has spent a lifetime in places and spaces that have informed his journey. He survived a botched driveby as a teenager on the streets of Philadelphia that launched him into a career as an entrepreneur in advertising and public relations. That led him into studying in seminary to become pastor on those same streets while, at the same time, pursuing a successful career leading mission-focused organizations in community, academia and philanthropic circles. He’s currently serving as both an Assistant Dean at Temple and Executive Director for a broad-based coalition committed to reducing gun violence in Philadelphia. His keynote will take from this lived experience to inform, enlighten and inspire others to learn from their respective pathways in making a difference in the world we share.
