General Information

General Information

At Temple University Center City, we strive to accommodate diverse student needs. Most schools and colleges within Temple University offer credit courses at TUCC. To enroll in undergraduate courses, students must hold a high school diploma or a G.E.D. Additionally, students transferring from another college or university should have earned a GPA of at least 2.0 and provide a transcript (official or unofficial) detailing their previous academic work.

Academic Advising

Non-Degree Students

Whether pursuing professional development, personal enrichment, or considering future application to a Temple University degree program, non-degree students, including visiting students from other colleges or universities, are welcome.

To explore the possibilities of taking courses as a non-degree student, reach out to the TUCC Assistant Director for Academic and Student Services. Office hours are thoughtfully scheduled, providing you with the flexibility to meet with an adviser during your lunch hour or after work. Advisers are ready to discuss transfer options and address career-related topics.

For more information or to schedule an appointment, please call 215-204-5763. Appointments are required, and meetings can be conducted via Zoom or by telephone.

For added convenience, TUCC advising now offers an online (virtual) option using Webex, a user-friendly web-based conferencing software that you can access without establishing an account. To schedule a virtual advising appointment, contact tuccadv@temple.edu and request a suitable appointment time. We look forward to meeting with you online.

Academic advisers from the following schools and colleges hold regular office hours at TUCC for matriculated students. All other matriculated students should contact their department or Dean's office for advising instructions.
