When you picture the perfect summer, what do you think about? Most people would probably say warm weather, fun times with friends and family, and their favorite pre-college program.

Okay, so maybe most people don’t really think about that last one very much. But they should! It’s never too early to get ahead, and through Temple’s pre-college programs, high school students can take part in a wide variety of fun activities during the summer. It’s also a chance to live on a real college campus, so if you’re itching to get an early taste of college life, our pre-college programs are for you.

This summer, Temple is proud to offer a variety of programs, including credit-bearing courses and non-credit workshops. Temple Summer Academy is a four-week program that offers students the chance to take a college course along with two non-credit workshops. This year we’ve added many new workshop options to choose from, including neuroscience, business, and law, so you can cater your schedule to a diverse range of interests. We also have two-week Pre-College Workshops, which give participants a chance to attend two non-credit workshops without the stress of a credit-bearing course. Both programs are a great way to explore an assortment of topics at a pace that works for you.
