University College International Travel

As part of its mission to educate, inform and broaden horizons locally and globally, University College is proud to offer educational trips abroad.

These comprehensive international adventures are organized and led by Temple faculty and staff. Each University College trips highlights a specific topic such as sustainability or preservation. During your travels you will not only participate in fascinated guided tours and experiences but you will have time to explore the countries your are visiting on your own or with other members of the traveling group.

Cuban Architecture, Urban Planning and Historic Preservation

February 8 - 18, 2025

The Tyler School of Art and Architecture Architecture program, Temple University University College and the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute are offering a unique opportunity to study historic preservation in 2025.

During Cuban Architecture, Urbana Planning and Historic Preservation, travelers will visit Cuba from February 8 through 18 (11 days/10 nights) to see and discuss Cuban architecture, urban planning and historic preservation. The tour guide will be Joel Abreau with a special co-host in Havana, Miguel Coyula. This trip is being offered in cooperation with AltruVistas.

The Temple Ambler Field Station and Temple University University College are offering a unique opportunity to sustainability in 2025.

A Culture of Sustainability & Ecotourism in Costa Rica is the second in a series of global experiences — Temple Ambler Field Station Explorations.

Travelers will visit Costa Rica from March 1 through March 9 (9 days/8 nights) to see and discuss the Costa Rica’s approach to protecting the environment, conservation, sustainability and ecotourism. This trip is being offered in cooperation with AltruVistas.
