University College International Travel

As part of its mission to educate, inform and broaden horizons locally and globally, University College is proud to offer educational trips abroad.

These comprehensive international adventures are organized and led by Temple faculty and staff. Each University College trips highlights a specific topic such as sustainability or preservation. During your travels you will not only participate in fascinated guided tours and experiences but you will have time to explore the countries your are visiting on your own or with other members of the traveling group.

Exploring Puerto Rico: Nature, Community and Science in Action is the next in a series of global experiences — Temple Ambler Field Station Explorations.

Participants will travel from May 10 through May 16 for an unforgettable journey to Puerto Rico, where the natural world meets cutting-edge science.

The trip includes lush rainforests, scenic coastlines and vibrant marine habitats — engage with scientists and the community to understand the unique tropical biodiversity on land and sea! Experience hands-on fieldwork with researchers studying Puerto Rico’s unique ecosystems and discover cultural traditions and community efforts that are shaping the island’s future.
